Writing Place: A Prose and Poetry Workshop
In this relaxed workshop, we shall explore writing techniques that create a sense of place and environment, situated perspective, and tap into the details that make such writing so persuasive. Through a selection of reading and writing prompts, you’ll come away with lots of ideas on how to develop your writing on place. We shall look at a mix of poetry and prose so this workshop is open to all writers, whilst particularly aimed at those starting out on these themes. Readings and handouts will be provided. The workshop is limited to 10 places.
