Wild Writing with Mindfulness/Qigong/Tea Ceremony - Saturday 15th November 2025

Image
Experienced writer and teacher, Lorna French invites you to practice some wild writing! Wild Writing is a free-flowing, deep-diving, generative writing practice that helps us breathe out onto the page. Using the wisdom of poetry, and ignoring the inner-critic, we write in small groups using a cycle of listening, writing and then reading aloud our work. Wild Writing is for anyone who is on their journey to be a better thinker, writer, artist, creative of any sort. Using a subtle mix of ancient and modern wisdom we will seek to unlock the stories we've buried over the years by shifting from a fully cognitive and mask-on way of walking through the world, to be more embodied, looser and intuitive in our approach to our work. This will include mindful breathing and gentle qigong movements, as well as a tea ceremony - all in the beautiful grounds of Kalewater Cottage in the Scottish Borders. These sessions are open to all. Date : Saturday 15th November 2025 Time : 10:00 - ...
